“Let’s work together to shift the dial in the right direction, decarbonise our built environment, and stay on the right side of history”

Russ has a passion for creating holistic and innovative sustainability strategies that focus on solving today’s key challenges around climate change in our built environment.

His unique multi-disciplinary approach seeks to seamlessly integrate Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) principles with the design, construction, and operation of his projects. He develops solutions that are fit for purpose and responds to the needs and expectations of his clients.

With an aspiration to shift the direction of the property industry, Russ looks to influence his clients to achieve net zero carbon emissions. He actively influences others in the industry to do the same.

With 15 years’ experience across the UK and Australia, Russ’ early career saw him work across several industry sectors including road and rail infrastructure. He provided in-depth Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and as a result, expanded his capabilities to energy, daylight, glare, and thermal comfort modelling.

Before joining ADP, Russ worked on some of Sydney’s iconic and most sustainable buildings, including 1 Bligh street, 8 Chifley Square, and the Barangaroo International Towers

Over the last 10 years Russ has formed strong relationships with industry partners such as the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and is currently representing ADP as an active member of the 2021 Expert Reference Panel (ERP) for Energy & Carbon. As a Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP), Russ continues to work with the GBCA, to steer the property industry towards carbon neutrality.

Russ is a singer and songwriter in his spare time and loves to socially connect with people.  He set up ‘The Social Collective’, a business that helps people to grow their confidence, social skills, and ability to engage and network with others.
