“I love being able to walk through a building and say, “I was part of that.”

Originally from France, Lucas started his career working in London before relocating to Melbourne. Lucas joined ADP because of its Australian focus and the opportunity to work on interesting projects. With his grandfather an engineer, and his parents working in construction, Lucas always had a fascination for the built environment. During his time in London, he overcame what he describes as his biggest hurdle – learning English.

His genuine passion for creativity and world-class architectural design, has seen Lucas excel in providing creative solutions to complex engineering problems. He has experience working on both international and local design teams and prides himself on bringing a high level of care and attention to detail to all his projects.

Before joining ADP, Lucas worked for six years on the Queen Alia Airport in Jordan. A distinctive building designed by internationally renowned architects, Foster & Partners. It was his first project as a graduate that he worked on from inception through to completion, and one he still considers special. Another unique project for Lucas was the KAFD Riyadh Metro Station in Saudi Arabia, an incredibly complex building with an undulating geometric, web-like structure that required bespoke engineering design and custom-made finishes.

His experience on large-scale projects is now being utilised on the major Chadstone Shopping Centre redevelopment, which is made up of four separate projects. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and clients, Lucas consistently strives to deliver great outcomes for all his projects.
