With over 15 years of experience, Hamed was educated and began his career in Iran as a Building Services Engineer. He worked on many health, industrial and residential projects, but one of his most memorable projects was as the Lead Building Services Engineer on a 16,000-apartment government development. With a team of 3,000 people working across the whole project, a key challenge was maintaining a high standard with a high volume of outputs including the sign off every shop drawing and material samples before it went into construction.

Hamed runs our Fire & Hydraulics team in Melbourne and is incredibly passionate about supporting and mentoring his team to achieve their professional goals. He always works to ensure a healthy work-life balance and consistent communication with his team, encouraging a safe environment to talk through anything, no matter what the issue is.

From a technical perspective, Hamed’s biggest passion is to create designs that satisfy the client and deliver the best long-term benefit for the building’s end-user. Having worked across many of our Melbourne projects, Melbourne Centrals’ Frame, a ten-story commercial tower and two-level extension on top of the existing centre, stands out.  Creating sustainable and innovative solutions to transition all the services through an existing shopping centre was both challenging and exciting.
