David’s greatest satisfaction comes from serving his clients – working collaboratively with great people to create great environments that benefit the wider community. Whilst he has consistently delivered across several market sectors including education, aviation, residential and retail.

With significant shifts in thinking about the role of the workplace, David advocates for the user experience, the use of technology and the principles of sustainability and wellness, balanced against achieving sensible commercial and operational outcomes.

David is currently leading the building services design for the 60,000sqm 600 Collins Street commercial office tower. His other projects include One Middle Road at Chadstone Shopping Centre and the redevelopment of 299 Bourke Street, a historic landmark building in Melbourne’s CBD.

Before joining ADP, David led some of Melbourne’s largest commercial projects including 80 Collins St, which comprised a new 43,000sqm premium office and a 255-key hotel atop a revitalised retail podium.  David has also delivered several large workplace fitout projects including the 10,000+sqm refurbishment to Toyota’s Commercial Headquarters. He also designed and delivered Swanston Central, an iconic CBD development which revitalised the heritage Carlton Brewery into a 71-level vibrant vertical village.

David combines excellent communication skills with strong technical knowledge to achieve his client’s vision. With a core belief in contributing ideas beyond the disciplines he represents; his love lies in the journey of a project and the relationships built along the way.

A well-known face across the Melbourne property market, David has excellent relationships with clients and industry associations. He is a member of the Property Council of Australia’s Future Trends and Innovation Committee and is also part of the 2022 PCA Mentor Program and the PCA’s 500 Women in property program.
